Butterflies can't see their wings. They can't see how beautiful they are, but everyone else can. People are like that.
I am a massage therapist, licensed esthetician and certificed holistic health coach. I am a certified Reflexologist, a student of Healing Touch and a Reiki Master. I've got several other certifications as well, but these days I focus on body sugaring and lash and brow rehab.
I've been in the wellness industry for over 20 years, own LillyBelle Therapies, am a trainer and distributor for Elleebana products and am co-owner and Director of Education for Sugar Streak. I guess you could say I am a life-long learner with a passion for business. I love helping people on both a personal and professional level.
I have a colleague that loves to say 'It's not a job when you love what you do.' I couldn't agree more. Fortunately I have a husband who is terribly patient and supportive of my workaholic tendencies and two children who are my anchors in life. And the most adorable 4 lb yorkie who is spoiled beyond reason.
I've been asked why I chose the name LillyBelle for my shop. I was simply looking for a name that meant both passionate and beautiful. Later, while doing the family tree for both my husband and myself, I discovered that while I knew my great-grandmother as Pearl, her first name was Lilly and that my husband's great-grandmother's name was Belle. Fate always plays a hand, don't you think?

My passion for the body began while I was still in the Navy. I was recruited to be a Fitness Leader and it was there that my love for helping others and exploring avenues of health and wellness began. Upon leaving active duty I went on a short lived journey to college to get my degree in Kinesiology. Although that avenue didn’t pan out as planned, I ventured into something I have become absolutely passionate about; massage therapy! I found myself in Tucson, AZ where I attended school at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts (now known as Cortiva Institute) for Massage Therapy, graduating in March 2008. At the completion of school I moved back to Fort Worth, TX where I have now resided for the better part of fourteen years. I have three young boys who keep me both full of joy and wishing there were more hours in a day.
I am an advocate of anything that has to do with helping the body heal itself. Massage therapy happens to be one of those things. To me it is a form of art, every body is different, every walk of life is different, and every day is different for each of us. I see massage as an opportunity to connect with people in a way that most of us don’t even think about, the power of touch. Touch literally has physical and emotional benefits, the most significant is the ability to reduce stress and anxiety. When you make it a point to care for yourself, on any level or in any form, you are making it a point to love yourself and ensure you are the best you, so that you may love others to your highest potential. Life is a balancing act and while on this journey we call life, it is so, so important that we make self-care a priority in that journey. That is why I am so passionate about giving to others through the power of touch.
I started as a massage therapist at the Massage Envy in Oro Valley, AZ where the hustle and bustle of a 50 minute massage, push one client out to get another one in, just didn’t the meet my expectations nor the well-being of my clients. Once I decided the franchise world wasn’t for me I became an independent therapist. The modalities I specialize in include Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Pre-natal massage. Each treatment is specialized to the client as there are no two people alike and I commit to give you my very best each and every time you receive a treatment. I look forward to the opportunity of walking with you on your journey, even if only for a moment in time and space.
